Skills | Knowledge | Confidence
BushLife.ca is a trusted online resource for anyone who wants to enjoy the outdoors but may not know how or where to start. Whether it is fear of the backcountry or perhaps the lack of specific skills. Our goal is to dispel those fears and help you navigate your outdoors lifestyle through the use of guides, tips and gear reviews.
Build your knowledge and skills on everything from starting a fire to boil water, getting to your backwoods campsite by ATV or even how to catch a fish! And don’t worry, we’ll simultaneously layer on all the survival components you’ll ever need for those moments when things just happen to go wrong… True confidence comes from knowing you can take yourself and these very skills will serve you well even in the city.
Life in the outdoors is exhilarating and it is also quite beneficial to your overall health as well as your mental well being. It’s also where you’ll find those lifelong memories. Once you start your own adventure, you will come across some of the most amazing experiences, sights and sounds you’ve ever had.
Stelios Lazos, Founder
Stelios is a father and a husband with a background in computer networking and business. He has been featured in the hospitality industry’s largest magazine (Foodservice and Hospitality) as the March 2020 cover story. He has also been featured repeatedly by the Canadian Franchise Association. Stelios has made quite the impression in the hospitality sector and business world as a former COO of a 100 location restaurant chain.
His passion is the outdoors!!! When not working, you can find Stelios enjoying his snowmobile, but his greatest love is the ATV and Side-by-Side. He also loves to wind down by making fires, camping and letting off some steam with trap shooting. Because of his passions, many around him were inspired and asked how they too could enjoy the outdoors. With so many questions, Stelios was inspired to start blogging and share his vast knowledge of the outdoors.
I’m a graphic designer and business person by day and a mother of 2 at night. But I can start a fire, setup camp, ride an ATV, shoot a gun on target and out fish just about any man, including my husband, just don’t tell him:)
When not working away at something creative, you’ll find me enjoying the outdoors in one form or another. Hopefully I can inspire many women and men alike to pursue their outdoors goals and embark on new adventures.
