Leatherman Skeletool Colours for the Skeletool CX
For those of you not familiar with Leatherman’s Skeletool family of products, let me give you a quick brief of both the Leatherman CX and KB.
The Leatherman Skeletool CX is a 7-feature EDC multi-tool, ideal for outdoor recreation like hiking, fishing, camping, DIY projects or just as everyday carry gear. Within the Skeletool CX multi-tool you will find the following tools:
- Needlenose Pliers
- Regular Pliers
- Wire Cutters
- Hard-wire Cutters (can handle copper wire)
- 154CM Knife (straight-edge blade)
- Carabiner / Bottle Opener
- Large Bit Driver (included bit storage with bits: Phillips #1 & #2, Screwdriver 1/4″ & 3/16″)
The Leatherman Skeletool weighs just 5 oz, making it perfect for pocket carry. This 4″ Skeletool CX features a replaceable pocket clip, meaning the Leatherman multi-tool can be attached to your pocket or belt. When you no longer need to carry the CX, simply remove the clip and use your Skeletool without the clip being in your way.
The 2.6″ CX blade is lockable, which is always a nice feature for a pocket knife. And as a bonus, the Skeletool can be operated with one hand, thanks to its one-handed deployment design. This makes working on light duty tasks super easy when you need quick access to your tools.
Originally, the Skeletool CX was only available in Leatherman’s classic black and silver colour combo. Today, you can choose between 4 extraordinary colours: Verdant, Nightshade, Paradise and Onyx. As of 2026, Leatherman has introduced a couple new colours: Guava and OD Green.

Leatherman’s KB Skeletool Colour
The Leatherman Skeletool KB is a high-quality pocket knife with a built-in bottle opener. Whether you’re into hunting, camping, hiking, home improvement, etc, the Skeletool KB compact EDC can handle it all.
The KB knife lets you disengage the locked blade with one hand. Just like the Skeletool CX, the Leatherman knife also features a removable pocket clip.
The Skeletool KB weighs 1.3 oz. and has a closed length of 3.45″. The blade itself is 2.6″ long and made of 420HC stainless steel, offering good knife steel quality for everyday use. The handle, however, is made from T6 hard-anodized aluminum.
As to colours, the Skeletool KB now comes in Onyx, OD Green, and Black & Stainless. It also comes in Verdant, Nightshade and Paradise. To make your Skeletool KB even more personalized, Leatherman lets you customize the blade for a more unique touch!
The Sheath
Unfortunately, both Leatherman’s CX and KB do not come with a sheath.
