Nature's Aid Skin Gel

5 All Natural Ways Nature’s Aid Gel Will Make You Heal

We all have problems with our skin, which is a simple and unavoidable part of life. Most of us also scour for natural healing products that benefit our skin without nasty smells or weird sticky residue. So why do we try to fix these problems with products containing chemicals? Toxic chemicals should be nowhere near our bodies. With it being 2023, we know better, so let us review Nature’s Aid Skin Gel, an all-natural product made locally in Ontario, Canada.

And if you are asking why you are reading this on an outdoor blog, you should realize something: We bake in the sun all day when canoeing or fishing. We are bitten by all kinds of weird things when camping. We rub the wrong plants while hiking. Our skin dries out when hunting in the cold. On top of all that, hopefully, we are lucky enough to avoid all the bruises, cuts and scrapes along the way.

While that last paragraph is not a great sales pitch for my blog that tries to get people outdoors, these are just some issues that arise with all the adventures. In fact, of all the people out there, we outdoor types need this product the most.

Nature’s Aid in Our Family

Pre-pandemic, my mother-in-law gave us a bottle of Nature’s Aid True Natural Skin Gel, particularly for scrapes and bug bites, which were plentiful and drove the children to tears. Being true believers in organic and natural products, we welcomed the Nature Aid bottle with open arms.

What started with an application to calm bug bites and heal scrapes has become the go-to for every skin-related ailment. Nature’s Aid True Natural Skin Gel has become an experiment of what else it can cure or relieve.

A small amount of Nature’s Aid does go a very long way. Needless to say, this incredible product comes in various sizes, making it a perfect companion for venturing into the outdoors, travelling, or simply staying at home.

The 5 Ways Nature’s Aid Skin Gel Heals

Natural skin healing occurs without using any product, but sometimes, our skin could use a little help. Nature’s Gel combines five natural core ingredients to help combat everything from bites and cuts to acne and dry skin. Sure, you can buy these extracts individually, but that gets expensive and requires time to remember what aids with what ailment. By combining these natural ingredients like Nature’s Aid did, we have a multi purpose product that is natural and beneficial. So, let us look at Nature’s Aid Skin Gel ingredients.

1. Aloe Vera Healing Benefits

Aloe Vera is a cactus-like plant. When sliced open, you will find a cold and slimy gel. When applied to the skin, aloe tends to tighten the skin as it dries. Aloe has both topical and oral uses. In this context, we will only be looking at the topical benefits.

Naturally, healing: Acne, lichen planus, psoriasis, oral submucous fibrosis, and burning mouth syndrome, may speed burn healing, reduce burn pain and radiation-induced skin toxicity.

2. Tea Tree Oil

Tea tree is an oil that comes from steaming the leaves of the Australian tea tree. This oil is a topical treatment used to treat all kinds of skin ailments based on its antibacterial and antiseptic properties. It is not uncommon to find tea tree oil in many skin care products.

Treats: Acne, Athlete’s foot, lice, nail fungus, insect bites, and dandruff.

3. Witch Hazel

Witch Hazel is a plant used as an extract. The extract is an astringent which helps fight bacteria. It is also known for its anti-inflammatory properties.

Naturally, treat: Itching, minor pain, swelling, skin injury, mucous membrane, vaginal dryness, hemorrhoids, insect bites, minor burns, acne, sensitive scalp, minor bleeding and stings.

4. Vitamin E

Vitamin E is a fat-soluble antioxidant and is also known as an anti-inflammatory. Its role is to keep moisture in your skin and protect cells from damage.

5. Rosemary

Rosemary is an extract from the rosemary plant, known for its antibacterial, anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties.

Natural ways to heal: Acne, tightening skin, smoothing fine lines, removing under-eye bags, and reducing inflammation.

How Does Nature’s Aid Skin Gel Feel on the Skin?

When applied to the skin, it feels cool and is fast absorbing, leaving no residue, unlike Nature’s Aid Moisturizing Gel. It is not an oily gel. After application, your skin will feel smooth and silky. To elaborate on the Nature’s Aid Moisturizing Gel, my wife uses this gel for beauty care right before bed, and she has sensitive skin. Upon waking, she will notice that the gel leaves a film, which looks like skin peeling. She assumes there is more aloe vera in the moisturizing gel than in the skin gel. My wife has experience with the aloe plant; when the gel is applied to the skin and dries, it leaves a white film.

A word to the wise: if using this gel as a first aid or a wound healer such as broken skin, your skin may sting and turn red. The sensation and redness will pass quickly. If not, you may need to discontinue using the natural gel as there may be an allergy or a sensitivity you may not know.
